Biography
Aditya Mishra is a part-time lecturer at the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University. He previously served as an associate teaching professor at Khoury College from January 2023 to August 2025. He earned his Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst (2015), his master's in information technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and his bachelor’s in information technology from Rajiv Gandhi Prodyogiki Vishwavidyalaya. Prior to joining Northeastern, he was an assistant professor of computer science at Seattle University for seven years (2015-2022).
Dr. Mishra's research has been recognized with the prestigious 2024 ACM e-Energy Test of Time Award, honoring work with lasting impact on the field. His scholarship has appeared in leading venues including ACM Transactions on Cyber-Physical Systems, IEEE JSAC, ACM eEnergy, IEEE INFOCOM, and IEEE GLOBECOM, with three papers nominated for best paper awards. He has also received Seattle University's Summer Faculty Fellowship (2021) and served as a Center for Environmental Justice and Sustainability Fellow (2016-2017).
Outside academia, Aditya enjoys spending time with family, hiking, and meditation.
